Black Fleet London is a licensed Private Hire Operator regulated by Transport for London.

2. Definitions

  • “Operator” refers to Black Fleet London Ltd or B.F.L.
  • “Customer” refers to the person making a booking.
  • “Passenger” refers to any person travelling in a booked vehicle.
  • “Driver” refers to a TfL-licensed private hire driver operating under the Operator.
  • “Booking” refers to a journey arranged through Black Fleet London Ltd or B.F.L.

3. Bookings

3.1 All bookings must be made in advance through our approved booking channels: web-site, land-line or e-mail.

3.2 A booking is only confirmed once accepted by the Operator.

3.3 The Operator reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where necessary for safety, compliance, or operational reasons.

4.Fares and Payment

4.1 All fares will be agreed at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Additional charges may apply for waiting time, route deviations, tolls, parking, or cleaning where applicable.

4.3 Payment must be made using the accepted payment methods communicated at booking.

5. Cancellations and Amendments

5.1 Cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of booking.

5.2 Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

5.3 Amendments are subject to availability and may affect pricing.

6. Passenger Conduct

6.1 Passengers must behave responsibly and comply with the driver’s reasonable instructions.

6.2 Smoking, vaping, illegal substances, and unsafe behaviour are strictly prohibited.

6.3 The Operator reserves the right to terminate a journey if passenger conduct poses a safety risk.

7. Luggage and Personal Belongings

7.1 Luggage must be suitable for the vehicle booked.

7.2 The Operator is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in vehicles, though reasonable efforts will be made to assist recovery.

8. Delays and Force Majeure

8.1 The Operator is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including traffic, weather, accidents, or road closures.

8.2 Journey times are estimates only.

9. Complaints Procedure

9.1 Complaints must be submitted in writing to TfL@blackfleetlondon.co.uk.

9.2 Complaints will be handled in accordance with our published Complaints Procedure.

9.3 Customers may escalate unresolved complaints to Transport for London if required.

10. Data Protection

10.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

10.2 Data is used solely for operational, legal, and customer service purposes.

11. Liability

11.1 The Operator maintains appropriate insurance in accordance with TfL requirements.

11.2 Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.

12. Governing Law

12.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

12.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
